Who was responsible for an insurrection at the Capitol.

Who suggested injecting disinfectant to fight a pandemic.

Who paid off (sobornó) a porn star with campaign funds and then lied about it.

Who was impeached (impugnado) not once, but twice.

I could go on.

But the American public has spoken, and they have said:

This is who we want!

Some words can take the suffix “-ing” to form adjectives, but “stress” isn’t one of them.

Adjectives with “-ing” are usually formed from verbs and describe something that causes a feeling, often highlighting the effect that something has on people.

The result is worrying

✅ “Stressful”

With words such as stress, we need to add “-ful” at the end of the word to form an adjective. The “-ful” suffix indicates that something possesses a certain quality.

It is a very stressful situation

It implies that there’s enough backing to move forward with confidence, similar to winning an election or gaining public support in a political context.

The new CEO secured the mandate from the board to restructure the company.
