💊Painkillers for Xmas
#064
Ladies and gentlemen, a Merry Christmas to you all.
We hope that you have enjoyed time with your nearest and dearest (tus seres más queridos)
We spent most of Christmas Day and all of Boxing Day (Día de Sant Esteban) in bed with a fever.
Sat in bed, popping (empastillándome) nurofen is not how anyone wants to spend their Christmas.
It got us thinking about painkillers (analgésicos) in learning English. Specifically, the pain points our students face.
One pain point that many have shared with us, is the need for more contact with English between classes.
This has inspired an idea: The Crystal Clear English Daily.
But we can’t do it alone—we need your help.
We’ve created a quick survey to uncover your biggest challenges when learning English.
Your feedback will be invaluable in shaping this project and helping us create something that truly solves your most pressing problems.
It’ll only take you a few minutes, but it will make an huge difference in how we support you on your learning journey.
Thank you so much and we’ll see you in the new year!
Warm wishes,
The Crystal Clear English Team
Merry Christmas to you all from the Crystal Clear English Team.
This week’s three tips:
SOMETHING TO AVOID 🫣
🤦🏻♀️ “It’s a shit”
Yes, we know you want to say “es una mierda.”
✅ “It’s shit”
When we want to describe a bad situation, make sure not to say “a.”
Being sick on Christmas Day is shit
SOMETHING TO SOUND CONFIDENT 🧐
👔 Business expressions
“Pain points”
Pain points are persistent or recurring problems customers face that can be addressed through products, services, and customer experiences. They are often described as areas of friction, disruption, or inconvenience that people encounter in their everyday personal or professional lives.
By better understanding your pain points, we can help you overcome the specific challenges you face.
SOMETHING TO WATCH 👀
Take the time to watch this video. Even if football isn’t your thing.
See how well you understand the Scouse (Liverpool) accent. 😅
You’ll never walk alone 🙏
Isaac fue diagnosticado con el Síndrome de Wolf-Hirschhorn. Liverpool 🏴, equipo del que es hincha, le brindó fuerzas para salir adelante. Y más que eso. Sí, el fútbol es realmente maravilloso. ⚽️❤️
