☎️ Dialled in
#086
Last week I had a lot of work to do.
So I cleared my desk and put my phone away.
No distractions.
No getting sidetracked.
Just me and my to-do list.
And I got on with the task at hand.
Then another, then another.
Ticking them off one by one.✔️
I wasn’t just working.
I was completely dialled in.
This is what we say when you’re not distracted, getting the important things done.
No scrolling on Instagram.
No TikTok black hole.
Just sharp focus, actual progress, with a mind that’s switched on.
So when you’re fully focused next week, you can think to yourself:
“I’m dialled in.”

Were you dialled in last week?
This week’s three tips:
SOMETHING TO AVOID 🫣
🤦🏻♀️ “I am very concentrated”
Concentrated is for liquids — like concentrated orange juice or strong coffee. It’s not used to describe people trying to focus.
He drinks the most concentrated coffee I’ve ever tasted
✅ “I am very focused”
If you’re talking about mental effort, the word you want is focused.
We are focused on the main objective and won’t get sidetracked.
SOMETHING TO SOUND CONFIDENT 🧐
👔 Business expressions
“Laser focused”
Hyper-focused on a specific goal.
Right now, we’re laser-focused on client retention
