The bromance between Donald Trump and Elon Musk is over.
Who couldāve seen that coming?
All that power and ego couldnāt get along.
They fell out over the āOne Big Beautiful Bill.ā
Yes, itās really called that. Pinch yourself.
Musk slammed it as a ādisgusting abomination.ā
Trump fired back, warning there would be āserious consequencesā if Musk supported anyone who opposed it.
When a situation escalates, from polite and professional to openly aggressive and personal, we say the gloves are off.
It comes from boxing where the gloves are padded to protect the opponent.
But if the gloves come off, itās no longer a fair fight.
Itās a brawl.
Thereās no pretending to be nice anymore.
Theyāre ready to fight dirty, speak harshly, or do whatever it takes to win.
Pass me the popcorn.
