I must confess.
Sometimes I do dumb stuff.
I know this because a smart person would answer questions differently.
When my wife asked me if I wanted to go to the Circus the other day, with some friends and their kids, my reply was:
Do I have to come?
Now I know what you’re thinking.
I would have answered that question differently.
If so, you my friend, are undoubtedly smarter than I am.
Anyway, I quickly realised my mistake. In a matter of seconds.
This particular slip of the tongue was easily fixed…
by booking tickets to the Circus.
So, on the weekend, off to the Circus we went.
And it was there I realised I really was a fool.
Because it was excellent.
The acrobatics.
The showmanship.
The physical strength.
The co-ordination.
The timing.
The pageantry.
The routines were often flawless, well honed after hours and hours of practice.
You could only admire and respect the performers and their show.
How smooth everything was!
It didn’t include any clowns.
But that evening there was one in the audience.
It was a great spectacle

After must you must never use to.
Although If you want to use the same idea in different tenses then perhaps its betters to use have to.
Which of course does use to
I had to buy popcorn
✅ “I must go”
So always use must + verb.
I must engage my brain before answering
SOMETHING TO SOUND CONFIDENT 🧐
