BEFORE WE DIVE IN
We currently live in a bubble.
Our son is two weeks old, my mother is visiting, extended family and well wishers fill our days.
We thank you all for your well wishes, as well as your sage advice:
Enjoy the baby as much as you can, Kiss him, hug him and pamper him, because they grow up super fast
Children need love, patience, and clear boundaries. One thing I wish someone had told me earlier is that children actually feel safer when they know who is in charge. Being a parent is not about being their friend all the time; it's about providing guidance, consistency, and limits that help them grow into confident and respectful adults
Enjoy this adventure, leave expectations behind and don't forget to be kind to yourself.
We are, as you suggest, focused on enjoying the moment.
Happy in our bubble. Ignoring the world outside.
Wishing you all a wonderful week.

The bubble will burst eventually
This week’s three tips:
SOMETHING TO AVOID 🫣
🤦🏻♀️ “We are inside a bubble”
We wouldn’t be inside a bubble, unless we’re talking about a literal physical bubble.
✅ “We are in a bubble”
Much more natural.
We have been in a baby bubble for two weeks now
SOMETHING TO SOUND CONFIDENT 🧐
👔 Business expressions
“To burst someone’s bubble”
It means to spoil someone’s happiness, excitement, or illusion by telling them an unpleasant truth or bringing them back to reality.
I don’t want to burst your bubble, but the tickets are sold out.
