I hope you’re enjoying the summer
Perhaps you are sitting on the beach with a cold drink close by.
If you are, then I have something for you.
I wanted to share a beautiful article that’s been floating around the internet this week.
It shows us that the every day items in our homes, the ones we take for granted every day, were once stuff of dreams for our ancestors.
Make sure to read the article below.
It’s a piece of writing which makes you realise how lucky we all are.
Anyway, I’ll let you get back to the beach.
Have a wonderful week.

Enjoy your time off
This week’s three tips:
SOMETHING TO AVOID 🫣
🤦🏻♀️ “We have lucky”
You can’t say “we have lucky” because lucky is an adjective, not a noun.
In Spanish:
Tenemos suerte → literally “We have luck.”
Suerte = noun → luck
✅ “We are lucky”
But in English, we describe the person and use the verb “to be” instead:
❌ We have lucky.
✅ We are lucky.
We were lucky to get tickets to the World Cup final
SOMETHING TO SOUND CONFIDENT 🧐
👔 Business expressions
“A lucky break”
A lucky break is an unexpected opportunity or fortunate event that gives you an advantage or helps you make progress, especially when success might otherwise have been difficult.
The important idea is that you didn’t necessarily create or plan the opportunity — chance played a part. What you do with that opportunity afterwards, however, is up to you.
Getting introduced to that investor was a lucky break
